The theme for this year will be “Law, Governance, and Ecological Integrity in the Era of Emergency” and will look at how our ecological, law, and governance systems are reacting to increased dis-integrity in our human and natural systems, creating a continuum of crises related to climate harms, biodiversity collapse, extreme weather events, harms and injustice to one another, and rising authoritarianism. How do the principles of ecological integrity help advance a more just, more secure, more sustainable future, and where are the examples of best practices seen around the world?
